20 Iconic Celebrity Engagement Rings

Lily Collins' Engagement Ring

Celebrity engagement rings have long captivated the attention of fans for their often extravagant, trend-setting style. This comprehensive guide will explore the details and histories of some of the most iconic celebrity engagement rings, providing an in-depth look at the craftsmanship and stories behind them.

Meghan Markle

Prince Harry first proposed in 2017 with a classic yellow gold three-stone design featuring a cushion-cut center diamond sourced from Botswana, a location of personal significance to the couple. The center diamond is flanked by two round brilliant diamonds, which once belonged to Princess Diana, imbuing the ring with sentimental value and royal history. During their engagement, the couple reset the heirloom diamonds in a slightly more modern three stone design with a dainty pavé diamond band. Megan’s ring is estimated to cost $200,000.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox’s engagement ring from Machine Gun Kelly is a truly distinctive piece. The ring features two pear-shaped gems—an emerald and a diamond—set side by side in a Toi et Moi design. The stones are positioned on a delicate yet edgy band of thorns made of white gold.

The toi et moi setting, which means “you and me” in French, has long been a symbol of two souls coming together. By choosing a diamond and an emerald, Machine Gun Kelly personalized this concept to represent the couple’s bond. The emerald, Megan’s birthstone, adds a layer of personal significance. The ring’s estimated cost is $300,000 – $500,000.

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel’s engagement ring from Jonathan Scott features a unique and elegant design with a round-cut diamond at its center. The diamond is set on a thin, delicate platinum band, which enhances the gemstone’s brilliance and creates a sophisticated look. The ring’s design includes intricate details on the band, adding a touch of vintage charm to the classic diamond centerpiece. This combination of a classic cut and delicate setting makes the ring a striking and memorable piece estimated to cost around $50,000.

Zoë Kravitz

Zoë Kravitz’s engagement ring from Channing Tatum is a eye-catching piece. The ring features a large oval-cut diamond set in a sleek platinum band, with the center stone being the star of the show. The diamond’s impressive size and clarity make it a standout, perfectly complementing Zoë’s effortlessly cool and chic aesthetic. Zoë’s design is estimated to cost $300,000.

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown’s engagement ring from Jake Bongiovi is a stunning solitaire design, featuring a large cushion cut or round cut diamond. The diamond is set in an elegant yellow gold band, which provides a beautiful contrast to the diamond’s dazzling sparkle. The ring is estimated to be priced at $75,000 to $100,000.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s engagement ring from Dalton Gomez is a stunning toi et moi style ring featuring an approximately 5 carat oval diamond set at an angle along with a lustrous pearl. The pearl may likely hold particular sentimental value for Ariana, since her grandmother had previously had a ring made for her from one of her late grandpa’s pearl tie pins. Many of Ariana’s fans have speculated that the pearl in her engagement ring is the same pearl from her grandfather’s pin. The piece is estimated to cost between $350,000 and $850,000.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber’s first engagement ring in 2018 from Justin Bieber is a show-stopping piece that quickly captured public attention. This custom-designed ring features a large, oval-cut diamond set in a gold band. The diamond, estimated to be 18-carats, is now worn as a pinky ring.

In May of 2024, Hailey was gifted a second ring during a vow renewal ceremony, which also features an oval-cut diamond, estimated to be worth $1.5 million. This ring includes a pavé diamond band, adding extra sparkle and glamour to the design. The addition of the pavé diamonds introduces a new level of sophistication while maintaining the modern elegance of the original ring.

Lauren Sanchez

Lauren Sánchez’s engagement ring from Jeff Bezos features a massive 30-carat diamond. The 30-carat weight of the diamond makes this ring one of the most significant and valuable pieces of jewelry in the world of celebrity engagements. The platinum band is a fitting complement to the emerald-cut diamond, providing a sleek and durable setting that ensures the diamond remains the focal point. The ring is estimated to cost between $3 million and $5 million.

Sofia Richie

Sofia Richie’s engagement ring from Elliot Grainge was given to her in April of 2022. The ring features an estimated 5 carat emerald-cut diamond, set on a simple yet elegant yellow gold band. The ring is estimated to be worth between $300,000 and $400,000. The minimalist design allows the diamond to be the center of attention, highlighting its impressive size and brilliance.

Blake Lively

Blake Lively’s engagement ring from Ryan Reynolds is an iconic piece that has captivated jewelry enthusiasts since the couple’s engagement. The ring features a stunning oval-cut pink diamond, weighing approximately 12 carats. This rare diamond is set in a delicate rose gold band, which complements the pink hue of the diamond and adds to the ring’s romantic appeal. The band is also encrusted with small pavé diamonds, adding an extra touch of sparkle without detracting from the center stone’s beauty. The ring’s worth is estimated at $2 million.

Lily Collins

Lily Collins’ engagement ring from Charlie McDowell is a truly unique and personalized piece. The ring features a rose-cut diamond, set in a bezel setting on a yellow gold band. The rose-cut diamond is known for its flat base and domed, faceted top, which gives it a vintage, antique feel. This cut, combined with the bezel setting, creates a ring that is both timeless and one-of-a-kind. The ring’s worth is estimated at $75,000 – $100,000.

Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley’s engagement ring from Elvis Presley is a remarkable piece that remains iconic to this day. The ring features a 3.5-carat diamond surrounded by a halo of 20 smaller, detachable diamonds. The surrounding halo of 20 smaller diamonds added extra brilliance and depth to the design, making the ring stand out even more. The fact that these smaller diamonds were detachable was an innovative feature, allowing Priscilla to wear the ring in different ways and showcasing the versatility of the design.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton’s engagement ring from Carter Reum is an extraordinary piece that perfectly reflects her love for glamour and luxury. The ring, named the “Paris,” features a massive emerald-cut diamond set in a platinum band. The center diamond is estimated to be around 15 to 20 carats, and its elongated shape is complemented by two trapezoid-cut diamonds on either side. The design was inspired by both Art Nouveau and classic Parisian aesthetics, combining elegance with a touch of vintage charm. The ring is estimated to be worth $2 million.

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian’s engagement ring from Travis Barker is a bold piece featuring a large oval-cut diamond set on a delicate, thin platinum band. The diamond, estimated to be around 10 to 12 carats, is the centerpiece of the ring, with its elongated shape adding to its elegant and sophisticated appearance. The thin band emphasizes the size and brilliance of the oval-cut diamond, allowing it to be the focal point of the design. The ring’s cost is estimated at $500,000 to $1 million.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens’ engagement ring from Cole Tucker is a beautiful, classic design featuring an oval-cut diamond. The diamond is set on a thin, yellow gold band, which complements its brilliance. The oval shape of the diamond gives it an elegant and timeless appeal, while the yellow gold band adds a touch of warmth and vintage charm. Vanessa’s design is estimated to cost $250,000.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone’s engagement ring from Dave McCary is a distinctive piece featuring a pearl at its center, surrounded by a halo of small diamonds. The pearl is set on a thin gold band, which enhances the ring’s delicate and vintage-inspired aesthetic. The use of a pearl instead of a traditional diamond makes this ring unique and reflective of Emma’s individual style. The design is estimated to cost $5,000.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry’s engagement ring from Orlando Bloom is a vibrant and eye-catching piece featuring a flower-shaped design. At the center of the ring is a large ruby or pink oval-cut diamond, surrounded by a halo of eight smaller white diamonds, forming the petals of the flower. The ring is set in a yellow gold band, which complements the pink diamond and adds to the overall warmth and charm of the design. The floral motif is both unique and playful, perfectly capturing Katy’s bold and whimsical style. The cost of Perry’s design is hard to estimate, as it’s unclear whether the center gem is a pink diamond or a ruby. Both pink diamonds and rubies of that size are incredibly rare and expensive, however.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian’s first engagement ring from Kanye West is an exquisite piece featuring a 15-carat, cushion-cut diamond. The diamond is set on a delicate, thin platinum band. The gem is a D-flawless diamond, meaning it is of the highest color and clarity, making it exceptionally rare and valuable.

Kanye later gifted Kim a second engagement ring valued at $4 million. This ring featured an even larger 20-carat emerald-cut diamond. Like the first ring, this diamond was also a D-flawless, set on a thin platinum band.

Simone Biles

Simone Biles’ engagement ring from Jonathan Owens is a stunning piece featuring an oval-cut diamond. The diamond, estimated to be around 3 carats, is set on a pavé diamond band, adding extra sparkle to the already brilliant center stone. The oval shape of the diamond gives it an elegant and elongated appearance, while the pavé diamonds on the band enhance the overall brilliance of the ring. It has an estimated price of $300,000.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s engagement ring from Jay-Z is a stunning piece featuring an impressive 18-carat, cushion-cut diamond. The diamond is set in a platinum band, which accentuates its size and brilliance. The ring’s large center diamond is renowned for its exceptional clarity and striking presence, making it one of the most notable celebrity engagement rings. The simple, elegant band allows the diamond to be the focal point of the design, highlighting its grandeur and beauty. The ring’s cost is estimated at $5 million.

Penelope Cruz’s ring is a subtle combination of a color and a clear diamond. The color in this case is a very calming, soft sapphire color, not the usual deep blue of the sapphire. This color is so tender and soft that it is kindly refreshing as a sapphire.

I have my grandmother’s rings from 1931. I’ve been asked to have them appraised by a jewelry store that my husband has done business with but I won’t take them off. They don’t understand that they can’t put a price on them, it’s the fact that they were on my grandma’s fingers for so long and the connection that I feel from them that gives them their greatest worth!

I had a vintage 1960s emerald cut diamond that was passed down from my mother. I had it put in A simple but unique setting
20 yrs later it is now my daughter’s but her setting is “busy” and the classic emerald needs no help getting attention. I wish I had it back. Appraised at 6,000.00. But it was its beauty that mattered. Do stunning things with it as it is an amazing stone!
