Bracelet Size Chart

The table below shows how wrist measurements correspond to bracelet sizes. Bracelet size measurements refer to the actual bracelet length. These sizes apply to both women's and men's bracelets. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

How to Measure Your Wrist for a Bracelet

To measure your wrist for a bracelet, you only need a few simple household supplies.

Supplies:

  • Flexible measuring tape (or a piece of string, ribbon, or cord)
  • Ruler (only needed if using string instead of a measuring tape)

Steps:

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
  2. Keep the tape snug but not tight, you should be able to rotate it comfortably around your wrist.
  3. Read the number where the tape meets its starting point. This is your wrist circumference.
  4. Match your wrist circumference to the bracelet size chart above to find your size.
  5. Check the fit by sliding one finger between the bracelet and your skin. A properly sized bracelet should move slightly on your wrist without slipping off your hand.

If you don't have a measuring tape, wrap a piece of string or ribbon around your wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.

You can also measure a bracelet that already fits you well by laying it flat and measuring its full length.

FAQ

What is the average bracelet size?

The average bracelet length for women is between 6.5" and 7" and 7.5” for men. Use the size chart above to find the exact bracelet size that matches your wrist measurement.

What bracelet size should I get?

The bracelet size you should get depends on your wrist measurement. Measure your wrist using a flexible tape measure or a piece of string, then match the result to the size chart above. A well-fitting bracelet should sit comfortably on your wrist with enough room to slide one finger underneath. If your measurement falls between two sizes, size up for a looser, more comfortable fit.

How do I measure bracelet size without a measuring tape?

To measure your bracelet size without a measuring tape, wrap a piece of string, ribbon, or cord around your wrist just below the wrist bone. Mark the spot where the end meets the rest of the string, then lay it flat against a ruler to find your wrist circumference in inches or centimeters. You can also measure a bracelet you already own by laying it flat and measuring its total length. Once you have your measurement, use a bracelet size chart to determine your size.
