True North, Truly Beautiful

My fiance proposed to me in January 2012 at his apartment where he excitedly jumped on the bed and while proposing he slipped a beautiful True North ring in platinum on my hand before I could finish saying "yes". Even in the dim light I could see how the ring sparkled and how comfortable it felt on my hand as I don't usually wear jewelry. I pleasantly surprised when he turned on the light and was able to get a better look at how exquisitely beautiful the ring was! It was truly a sparkling evening and I said yes. My hands are smaller with long fingers so when ring shopping it was important that the ring not make my hands look overdone while aligning with our ethical beliefs. The True North ring meets those requirements and then some. The setting is simple, delicate, and beautiful while being a unique in the compass placement of the prongs. I've received lots of compliments over the past two years on how bright it sparkles and how beautiful my ring is. This ring has been on my hand since he proposed and can say it is very comfortable. I love the low profile which helps it delicate appearance and keeps it from getting stuck in my jeans pocket when digging out change for example. Love my ring!

I love my ring. Not only is it beautiful, its perfect for my lifestyle. I am a scientist and have to put on and take off gloves all the time. The setting isn't too high and there isn't a lot for the glove to get caught on. I use my hands a lot and the setting is such that it doesn't get a lot stuck on it and it stays clean relatively easy. Even though the setting isn't high, the openings a the bottom allow a lot of light in, so my diamond has a lot of sparkle. Beautiful and amazing quality

This is a beautiful, practical setting, with a low enough basket that it doesn't get in the way. It's good for people who want something that's classic yet unique; a real family heirloom in the making. We got it in platinum and it does scratch really easily, so don't wear it at the gym or whilst handling metal objects that could scratch it. The bottom of the basket is a bit low so not sure it would really go with all wedding bands either, at least not without a gap. But overall, an excellent product. ...Read More
