If a potential winner is disqualified due to failure to timely respond to Sponsor’s notification or for any other reason, the Sponsor will conduct one (1) additional drawing from among all remaining eligible entries to award the prize to an alternate winner. Only one (1) alternate drawing will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. No substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize is permitted, except by Brilliant Earth, who has the right to substitute a prize with another of comparable or greater value. No returns or exchanges of prizes permitted except at Brilliant Earth's sole discretion. All taxes in connection with a prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prize winner may be sent a tax form 1099, or other appropriate tax document, in the event the average retail value of the prize requires Brilliant Earth to submit such form.
