Brilliant Earth supports Pure Earth’s mission to empower miners in the artisanal gold mining community of Madre de Dios by providing training in mercury-free mining practices. Brilliant Earth partnered with the Diamond Development Initiative to fund a primary school in a rural diamond mining community, providing education to two classes of children who had little or no formal education and may otherwise accompany their parents to the nearby Lungudi mine. We have also supported these classes through High School.
