Ideal cut diamonds are considered high-quality diamonds that out-rank the majority of other diamonds in their ability to shine brilliantly and reflect light.
When considering an ideal cut diamond, it is imperative to also consider the other 4 C's: color, clarity, and carat. While having ideal status is important, it is equally important to find a diamond that retains an excellent level of clarity (little to no inclusions), is within a color scale that you like (generally D-H), and is a carat weight that fits within your preferences.
