Worst experience ever

I bought an engagement ring for my fiancé in December 2020. When the ring needed to be resized all of the problems started. I was told that the ring was resized, which it wasn't. The 30 day return period had passed because of sending it back to have the ring resized. After we received the ring back it still didn't fit. It was so hard to get a hold of someone who could make any decision on how to proceed. The best we could get is a metal credit. Which is essentially the company would melt down my fiancé's brand new ring and give us a fraction of the cost in a credit. So essentially we would have to put out even more money to get what we had wanted from the start. We were planning on getting our wedding bands from Brilliant Earth as well, but not anymore.
