I said yes!
After browsing through several stores and trying on rings, I couldn't find anything that wowed me or anything that was exactly what I wanted. I received a suggestion from a friend to look on Brilliant Earth and I did. I found this ring and sent a picture to my now fiance, Andrew, describing it as exactly what I've been looking for. I wasn't sure if he was going to select it for me or not. But when he opened the ring box when he proposed, I was blown away. It's even more stunning in person. I love looking down at my hand at it. It's perfect and the most beautiful engagement ring I've ever seen. I'm so lucky it's mine to wear.

Absolutely beautiful!
This ring is absolutely stunning! I love love love the ring! It is a platinum setting with 1 carat oval diamond (size 7 finger, in case you're wondering what that size looks like). The oval diamond is super sparkly and the halo adds to the glam, but it's still a classic look. The platinum is a heavy metal, much heavier than gold and it feels solid on the finger. I like that it's not raised so much because it doesn't snag on things. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the band is very "square", it would be more comfortable on the inside of the hand if it were more rounded off. It takes a few days to get used to it, and on some days it's just not the most comfortable, but I guess you can go have that adjusted. Just a gorgeous ring with quality craftsmanship. I can't wait to get a matching wedding band!

The perfect ring
My engagement ring is just perfect. The French Halo with a round center diamond looks classic and elegant. The round diamond is set so perfectly into the halo that it almost gives the illusion of a cushion cut diamond. The halo truly enhances the center stone, and because of the simple band I know that I will have no trouble finding the perfect wedding band to pair with it! Brilliant Earth was so great through the whole process. My fiancé and I couldn't be happier with our decision to work with them to find my perfect ring.

Unique
This was my engagement ring. When it arrived, I was surprised by how thin and straight edged the band was; I guess I couldn't tell that from the picture online. It took me a while to get used to that, because I'm used to the classic rounded look. But after a few weeks, I really grew to love it, and now I like that it has that modern band look, with a classic setting, it makes it unique. Now, I think it's beautiful, and constantly catch myself adoring it on my finger. I just hope the small halo diamonds stay and don't fall out!
