a little glitter for the guy
I really enjoy this special ring (it's my wedding band, after all). I never wore jewelry before and was worried about the comfort but this ring is really great. In fact, I reach down to touch it all the time because I fear losing it (i lose everything) - but it's always cozily right there. I also like that the hammered look gives it a little glitter, but still retains a masculinity. It reminds me of vikings :-) I also am really tough on everything I have (I spend a lot of time outdoors, camping, biking, etc.) and it holds up great. There are little scratches, but not deformations. We expected this when we talked about different rings with the people we met at Brilliant Earth. We also wanted to keep things environmentally friendly with our wedding and I was pleased to find a maker who used recycled metals. It's all good! I love it!

Great ring, but wish there was a harder gold option
I really love this ring for its comfort and uniqueness. It looked great upon arrival and was true-to-size. My only regret is that I wish we had gone for the platinum option as the 18k white gold scratches too easily. After just 6 months of wear many of the edges between the hammered facets have dulled and it has acquired scratches deep enough to catch a fingernail from as much as grabbing a stainless steel door handle. I am hoping a re-rhodium plating will remedy the scratches. I would still recommend this style of ring. It's very comfortable and has a low profile making it practical for anyone that works with their hands. Even despite the scratches it still looks great and catches the light nicely.

Comfortable, clean look with personality
I've been wearing this ring for just over a year now and I think I can count the number of times I've taken it off on one hand. It's very comfortable and fairly slim so it doesn't get in the way. It does scratch, but it's a matte finish so it's less of an issue. After a while the scratches end up looking more like a intentional finish choice and that's not a bad thing. The ring does just come to an edge and stop, it almost feels like the hammered section should have some type of border before the edge, but that's really a minor complaint and more of a style question than anything. If you like the looks, buy it and you will not be disappointed.
