6 Rings like Princess Beatrice’s Art Deco Engagement Ring

Congratulations to Princess Beatrice of York and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on their engagement!

Property mogul and descendant of Italian nobility, Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi, proposed to Princess Beatrice of York in Italy this September with a gorgeous Art Deco inspired ring. Beatrice’s 2.5 carat round center diamond is flanked by baguette diamond accents, round brilliant diamonds on the shoulders, and 5 pavé set diamonds along each side of the band. According to the jeweler, Edoardo helped design the ring and was inspired by his love of Art Deco designs and Beatrice’s love for a Victorian aesthetic in jewelry. The combination of these two design eras makes for a stunning vintage inspired ring.

Edoardo picked out the diamonds himself and selected ethically sourced diamonds from Botswana – of which we heartily approve! Meghan Markle’s center diamond from Prince Harry is also from Bostwana. Botswana diamond mining has contributed to transforming Botswana into one of Africa’s most prosperous countries, and Botswana diamond mines are dedicated to minimizing their environmental footprint. We are proud to offer Botswana Sort diamonds as part of our selection of Beyond Conflict Free DiamondsTM. Choosing a diamond from Botswana reflects these couples’ commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

In celebration of the happy couple’s engagement, we’ve pulled together some of our favorite vintage and vintage inspired designs inspired by Princess Beatrice’s ring!

Regency Diamond Ring

Like Beatrice’s beautiful vintage inspired ring, the Regency Diamond Ring is accented by baguette and round diamonds along the band. With its delicate band and bar set diamond accents, this ring elegantly combines contemporary and vintage design.

Harlow Diamond Ring

Parallel gleaming baguette diamond accents grace the shoulders of this sophisticated Art Deco inspired ring.

Tapered Baguette Diamond Ring

Captivating tapered baguette diamonds are bar-set in this elegant ring, brilliantly framing the center gem.

The Elwira Ring

The Elwira ring features a breathtaking old European cut diamond accented by baguette and single cut diamonds. Art Deco artistry and elegance decorate this unforgettable setting.

The Barbe Ring

This vintage white gold ring features many classic elements of Art Deco design including an old European cut center diamond held by clusters of sculpted prongs and geometric baguette and single cut diamond accents.

The Pamelina Ring

Delicate and charming, this platinum Retro-era ring holds a round brilliant diamond embraced on either side by baguette diamond accents.
