What Are the Top Jewelry Trends for 2027?
The top jewelry trends for 2027 are both personal and polished. Classic diamonds and bold gold give each look a strong foundation, while charms, zodiac medallions, pearls, and gemstones in unexpected colors add the details that make a piece feel like yours.
“Next year’s jewelry trends are less about a single statement piece and more about building a personal collection,” says Annie Chen, SVP of Merchandising. "The pieces people love most fall into two groups: the ones they never take off and the ones they save for moments that matter. A great collection has both, and it’s built one deliberate choice at a time. We’re focused on designing into both ends of that spectrum: dependable everyday styles made to be worn constantly, and standout pieces with real meaning behind them, so every customer can build a collection that feels like her own.”
Here's a quick look at the ten jewelry trends shaping 2027:
- Timeless diamonds: Studs, tennis bracelets and necklaces, solitaire pendants, and hoops.
- Bold gold: Substantial chains and thick huggie hoops in polished yellow gold.
- Green is the new neutral: Emeralds, green lab diamonds, and other green gems set in gold.
- Pearls: Classic Akoya strands and studs alongside baroque and novelty shapes.
- Statement pendants: Medallions, collars, and gemstone pendants with a strong focal point.
- Bezel settings: Stones framed in a smooth rim of metal, from rings to tennis bracelets.
- Love and luck: Hearts, four-leaf clovers, ladybugs, and horseshoes as charms and earrings.
- Playful maximalism: Charms, medallions, and gemstones mixed in unexpected combinations.
- Sentimental and symbolic: Zodiac signs, initials, names, and engravable lockets.
- Fashion rings: Gemstone-forward rings in green, blue, and other colors.

Top 10 Jewelry Trends
The Core Foundation
1. Timeless Diamonds
Studs, tennis bracelets and necklaces, solitaire pendants, and hoops form the foundation of most jewelry collections, and they will stay there in 2027. A diamond classic works on its own and as the anchor for everything else you add.
"A diamond classic is the piece you put on without thinking, and that's exactly the point," says Chen. "A well-made tennis bracelet or stud feels effortless and timeless. For tennis styles, the stones are matched, so the sparkle reads as one clean line. Everything else in a collection can build from there."
Sculpture in Gold
2. Bold Gold
Bold gold favors scale and weight. Think omega chains, herringbone necklaces, and thick huggie hoops, plus diamond pendants and drop earrings set in generous amounts of gold. The metal is a focal point of the design, so smooth, polished surfaces and confident proportions do the work.
"With bold gold, the shine of the metal is the focus," says Chen. "Thick, smooth surfaces catch light in broad sweeps, so a single piece can carry a whole look. Bold pieces also pair well with finer jewelry when you want a mix of weights and proportions."
Evergreen Color
3. Green Is the New Neutral
Green is moving from an accent color to everyday color. Emeralds lead the way, joined by green lab diamonds and prasiolite, and the shades range from deep forest to soft mint. When set in yellow gold, the color feels especially warm and grounded.
"Green works like a neutral because it sits comfortably next to almost everything: denim, black, camel, white," says Chen. "Yellow gold warms it up, and the range of green stones, from emerald to a green diamond, gives people a lot of room to find a shade that feels like theirs."
Pearls With Personality
4. Pearls
Pearls are being worn two ways at once — the classic strand and studs — and in newer shapes like baroque drops and unique pearl charms. Together, they show how wide the category has become.
"Pearl has always been about luster, and that hasn't changed," says Chen. "What's new is the range. A strand of Akoya pearls has an even, precise glow, while a baroque pearl has an irregular shape that makes every piece one of a kind. Wearing both keeps a traditional classic feeling modern and fresh."
Attention-Grabbing Accessories
5. Statement Pendants
A statement pendant gives a neckline a focal point. This year's versions include collars, sun and peace medallions, gemstone drops, and the Toi et Moi design, which sets two stones side by side.
"A statement pendant is a single, clear idea," says Chen. "A medallion has presence from across the room and rewards a closer look, while a collar frames the neckline. Because the piece has one main design focus, it pairs easily with everything from a simple chain to a layered stack."
Smooth Setting
6. Bezel Settings
A bezel setting wraps a stone in a smooth rim of metal, and in 2027 it appears across the whole jewelry box: tennis bracelets, strand necklaces, drop earrings, rings, and solitaire pendants. The low profile keeps each piece clean and easy to wear.
"A bezel gives a stone a graphic outline," says Chen. "It's a clean look that works at any scale, from a small solitaire pendant to a full tennis bracelet. And because the stones sit close to the surface, bezel jewelry tends to feel smooth and comfortable against the skin."
Little Talismans
7. Love and Luck
Hearts, four-leaf clovers, ladybugs, and horseshoes are showing up as charms and earrings, many with diamond accents. They're small, symbolic, and easy to collect over time.
"These symbols have been around for generations, and people respond to them instantly," says Chen. "A four-leaf clover or a heart needs no explanation. Charms also let you build a piece gradually, adding one at a time, so the jewelry grows along with your own story."
A Little Extra
8. Playful Maximalism
Playful maximalism mixes charms, medallions, and gemstones in combinations that feel personal rather than planned: a mushroom charm, a starburst ring, a lab emerald cocktail ring, an alexandrite drop earring.
"This trend is about curiosity," says Chen. "People are combining unexpected pieces, and the most successful mixes share something, whether that's a color, a metal, or a mood. A shared metal ties things together, so a charm and a gemstone ring can sit side by side and still look intentional."
Personal Symbols
9. Sentimental and Symbolic
Zodiac medallions, initials, script names, engravable lockets, and birthstone rings turn jewelry into a record of what matters to the wearer. Protective symbols like the evil eye join them.
"The most personal pieces tend to become the ones people wear most," says Chen. "A name, an initial, or a date gives a piece a story, and the details are often the ones only the wearer knows about, like an engraving inside a locket or a birthstone chosen for someone special."
Color Forward
10. Fashion Rings
Fashion rings put the gemstone first: a green lab diamond marquise, a cabochon peridot, a sky blue topaz signet, a smoky topaz, a Malibu Blue cushion lab diamond. The mix of cuts and colors makes each ring its own statement.
"A fashion ring is where color gets the most room," says Chen. "It's a small canvas, so the cut matters. A faceted stone sparkles, while a cabochon, which is polished smooth and domed, has a soft, glossy depth. These rings suit anyone who wants a ring that's all about the stone."
