This was an engagement ring that I wanted to surprise her with. We had talked about the idea of getting married however, I stated over and over the time wasn't right. I was planning this without her knowing the entire time. It was perfect. I proposed in front of Continental Falls In Breckenridge, CO. She loves the uniqueness of the ring and she really appreciates that it sparkles so much.

Met our ethically sourced expectations
This beautiful ring was chosen by my partner as a gift for me. He was waiting for the right emerald and knew choosing an ethically conscious stone would be important to me. The ring is quite elegant on my petite hand. I love that my partner was able to design a custom style that represented our uniqueness. I appreciate the eco-conscious practices of Brilliant Earth and love the wooden box that the ring was received in. I do have to remove the ring during certain activities, but overall am very pleased with Brilliant Earths practices and the choice my partner made.

Exactly what I was looking for!!!
My engagement ring is both classic and unique. The Princess cut diamond is divine in this setting. I receive compliments daily on how beautiful my ring is. Brilliant Earth staff was very helpful with resizing my ring and quickly returning it, as I hated to part with it! I plan on ordering my wedding bands from Brilliant Earth as well.

Wonderful balance of simple yet unique
I bought this ring as a surprise to my now fiance with some help from two of her close friends. I was unsure about picking the style and diamond but this ring was so fitting to her personality with the Celtic knots symbolizing an eternal and interwoven love with the elegant brilliance of the center diamond. We both have reservations with the diamond industry as a whole and being both recycled platinum and and ethically sourced diamond from Canada took away that anxiety. The ring is fairly thin but being platinum it doesn't feel like its to thin or brittle, a nice balance. It will likely not work well for a lot of the outdoors adventures we enjoy so am looking at a nice channel set wedding band to be paired with it. Now for those still reading I will share the proposal story, we went camping in the woods of NH in December at an AMC hut. We had a nice 3 mile snow shoe hike to the hut and then set out without the shoes to walk around the lake. I planned to find a nice location along the frozen lake to propose but she suggested we continue our hike after seeing a sign for a scenic view point another mile or so up the mountain. We continued off the packed trail to a mildly tracked trail then to a completely untouched trail with 12 to 18 inches of fresh snow. As we joked about not having our snow shoes she slipped at one point and fell to one knee, as she got up she jokingly said to me, "you missed your moment". I laughed as I knew what I had in my pocket and we continued up the trail. When we reached the first overlook it was still snowing and could only see about 10 feet or so but it was enough, I had the most beautiful sight on the mountain right next to me. After enjoying the moment and thinking over what I planned to say to her it was time to head back down. As we moved from the ledge I slipped next to her as she had done earlier on the hike and was now on one knee. However she was not too late and I proceeded to pull the ring out and try to put to words all the emotions I had inside. I had a whole bunch planned to say about how grateful I was to have her in my life and how our relationship was such a wonderful gift and I wanted nothing more than to continue our journey through life together but a combination of my nervousness and her excitement resulted in her interjecting with "are you serious" a few times till I finely I just answered "yes I am serious" and she said Yes!
