Sales Associate
Ideal candidates will have a proven sales track record, thrive in fast-paced startup environment and grow with the company to take on greater responsibility over time. Candidates should have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to work in a socially responsible consumer business, and a desire to work with customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to customer inquiries over phone, email, and live chat
- Advise customers on purchasing decisions - assist with custom design orders, recommend diamond options
- Conduct in-person customer appointments to show jewelry
- Analyze sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement to customer experience
- Identify and recommend new sales initiatives for accelerated growth
- Assist order management, inventory, merchandising, and fraud prevention efforts
Specific qualifications include:
- BA degree, GIA degree or equivalent
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Sales & customer service experience
- Retail and/or e-commerce experience preferred
- Experience or interest in jewelry
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Strong PC Computer skills
- Comfort with flexible environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude / self-starter
- Interest in social enterprise/organizations with social mission
- Interest in environmentally responsible products
Operations Associate
Coordinate & execute day to day operations of order management, fulfillment, production, and inventory process to maximize efficiency and quality standards critical to Brilliant Earth’s success. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and grow with the company to take on greater responsibility over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage & execute customer orders including order entry, quality assurance, and order fulfillment. Responsible for tracking status of orders to ensure timely arrival and processing.
- Work with sales team to assist with pre-sales and post-sales support, including processing returns, exchanges, resizes, and repairs.
- Assist with order fulfillment, including preparing and packaging customer materials appropriate to each order.
- Coordinate orders/jobs across different suppliers.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Formulate and implement systems, policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of business.
Specific qualifications include:
- Operations and/or administrative experience preferred
- Inventory/ supply chain/ production experience preferred
- Sales & Detail-oriented, process- oriented, highly organized
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Comfort with flexible environment

Online Marketing Associate
Online Marketing Associates will collaborate with the Senior Management team on a variety of online marketing projects critical to Brilliant Earth's success. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and grow with the company to take on greater responsibility over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quantitative assessment and continuous optimization across marketing channels (e.g. SEM, display, regargeting) to increase customer acquisition and drive traffic and sales.
- Track, measure, and report on marketing campaign performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Create and assist with new website content and functionality, user stories and requirements, and website implementation.
- Optimize website usability, SEO, and onsite conversion. Ongoing A/B testing through landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization.
Specific qualifications include:
- Online marketing interest, and preferably experience, in consumer-focused websites, preferably in retail e-commerce, jewelry or consumer products
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Computer skills, including strong Excel skills
- Comfort with flexible environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude/self-starter
