Sunstone, a variety of feldspar minerals, ranges in color from pale yellow through pale pink to dark orange and even a deep red. Sunstones are known for aventurescence, with most stones containing a glittery effect created from reflective copper metallic particles within the stone that scatter light and produce a shimmering appearance reminiscent of sunlight.
