Something Blue: Sapphire Engagement and Wedding Rings

A distinct and vibrant choice, sapphires have been valued for their vivid color and durability for centuries.

The beautiful September birthstone has long been used in bridal jewelry, in fact, before the rise in diamonds’ popularity, sapphires were the traditional gemstones for wedding and engagement rings. This lovely blue gem has continued in popularity today, partially due to the gorgeous blue oval sapphire halo ring shared by Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge.

Although sapphires can actually be found in many beautiful colors, we are particularly fond of their signature rich blue color. To celebrate these royal blue gemstones, we’ve created a list of some of our favorite sapphire engagement rings and sapphire wedding rings.
