Moissanite is a lab created gemstone that is born from the stars. Microscopic particles were first discovered over a century ago at the site of a meteor strike in Arizona, and after many years were successfully synthesized to produce what is now one of the world’s most scintillating gemstones.
Because they are grown in controlled environments using advanced technology, moissanites require absolutely no mining to produce. Therefore, their origins are easily traceable.
