Taxes and Duties
Orders over $1000 shipped to Australia are exempt from any duty charges, due to AUSFTA. For these orders, Brilliant Earth will include the necessary forms and paperwork to help ensure that duties are not charged. On orders less than $1000 all customs, duties and taxes will be applied by the customs office directly.
For all orders, Australian GST of 10% will be applied by the customs office directly and must be paid by the purchaser. GST is not included in the price charged by Brilliant Earth. All charges required for customs clearance will be the responsibility of the recipient. Brilliant Earth does not charge local VAT rates when shipping to Australia, and cannot guarantee estimates of customs, duties and taxes that may apply.
FedEx® International Priority Shipping to Australia
We offer FedEx International Priority® shipping to Australia on every order. For Australian orders, a $50 shipping fee will apply. For your protection, Brilliant Earth insures all orders for their full value during transit. There may be possible delays due to customs; however, Brilliant Earth is experienced in expediting this process by working closely with customs officials to minimize delays. 30 Day Australian Returns
At Brilliant Earth, we take pride that our jewellery is produced with the highest standards of quality and excellence. In order to make sure you are completely satisfied with your Brilliant Earth purchase, we offer a very flexible 30 day return policy. For orders shipped internationally, we can not offer ring resizing since taxes are levied every time a jewellery item crosses the border.
